I recently purchased my first B-body, a 1973 Charger SE "U" code, can anybody tell me how many of these cars were produced with the "U" code. Paint is Dark Gold Poly exterior w/ Gold Poly interior and full black vinyl top.

I redone one for my son "U" code. Just like yours, gold int and gold ext. I dont know what the U code is but Ive found 3 others close by with that code.

His is now SASSY GRASS GRN Changed the interior to BLK

The " U code" is a factory 440 engine! Didn't make very many of these when new, so not many left around.

Check out this guys 74' 440. Sounds like yours will look the same. I don't know figure for 440's, only know 400 #'s. Shouldn't take long on a google search to figure it out.

Does anyone have a DXF of a 1972 dodge charger? I would like to cut and paint one as this was my fathers first car and he has been working to restore one to be identical to his from when he was 16.
