I received a harness today but from the looks of the engine compartment i'll be needing one of them too. :'(

I have a 1968 Ford F100 and I got a new harness from a 1971 Ford F100 that had no engine in it. It has a Carb. Throttle Solenoid connector. What is a Carb. Throttle Solenoid? What does the wire going to it do?
